Saladin White II is an actor, filmmaker, and writer based in Philadelphia and New York. He graduated from New Freedom Theatre, where he trained as an actor. He also got his BFA from Point Park University, where he studied acting and Theater Directing. In 2020, Saladin received his MFA in Film from Columbia University

His most recent work, whole·some (short film)a hybrid narrative documentary, explores the beauty of Black Love. Saladin is also developing his first feature film, Blacked Out, which received development support from Catwalk Art Residency and the Independent Public Media Foundation.
